Wayne Reid

Slim started his career back in 1990, producing radio shows for the likes of Tom Rivers & Tarzan Dan. Since then, Slim has gone on to host every on-air shift from Weekends to Overnights, Afternoons to the coveted Morning Drive from Toronto, Ontario to Vancouver, B.C.

After spending three decades broadcasting for multimillion-dollar corporations and startups, Slim knows what truly drives listener engagement.
There have been many highlights in Slim’s career from, being part of the first Urban Radio station in Canada to being the first recipient of the UMAC AWARD for Best Radio Personality.

Slim has crushed ratings in all timeslots given to him, even doing the impossible and convincing KISS 92.5 to implement a Slow Jam show five days a week, which became #1 in its time slot across the city.

Never wanting to be considered a one-trick pony, Slim expanded his Voice-Over career along the way, working for exciting clients like EA Sports Vancouver, Mc Donalds and Virgin Radio (Dubai).

If you were to ask Slim today if he considers himself a veteran in the radio industry, he would say, “I was lucky enough to work at a radio station that I loved listening to 680 CFTR when I was 17 years old. I never considered it work. One week turned into three. Three weeks turned into three decades. So maybe not a veteran more like blessed.”
